Prior to joining Permanent Capital Ventures, Wenz served in both operating and investing roles with an enterprise software focus. He was an Associate at Emergence Capital where he invested in Series A and B enterprise software companies. He most recently worked in Business Operations at Regal, which is a fast-growing SaaS company that raised over $60 million from Emergence, Homebrew, and Founder Collective. Prior to joining Emergence, Wenz was an Associate at Bullpen Capital. Wenz also spent time on the Special Projects team at Cloudflare and was Co-Chair of the Emerging VC Association (EVCA). 

Wenz received an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he attended as a QuestBridge Scholar. He currently resides in New York.
