Prior to co-founding Permanent Capital Ventures, Jason had careers as both an operator and an institutional investor. He started his career at Summit Partners, where he focused on infrastructure and application venture capital software investments. Jason then joined Chicago Ventures, a firm launched in 2013 focused on Seed and Series A investments. While at Chicago Ventures, Jason was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for Venture Capital. Jason joined project44 in 2017 as Chief Growth Officer after leading Chicago Ventures’ investment in project44 in 2016. Jason joined from the first moments after product market fit and helped scale the business to over $100 million ARR.

Jason received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University, graduating with honors. After University, Jason played professional lacrosse in the NLL and MLL for the Boston Cannons and Blazers. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, an orthopedic surgeon, and miniature dachshund Winston.
